About the Role
The Director of Marketing Strategy, Medical Devices will lead client engagements with medical device manufacturers. This individual will manage and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities. The Director will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client’s customer base—ranging from healthcare professionals to hospital systems and patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing for technology and consumer healthcare devices, experience in market research and surveys, and a proven ability to lead a remote team of marketing professionals.
Salary Range: $160,000 – $180,000 base salary, plus performance-based bonuses and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for medical device manufacturer clients.
Develop tailored marketing strategies that align with clients' goals and product offerings.
Lead a remote team of 3, guiding campaign development and execution.
Produce marketing proposals and pitch materials to win new business.
Conduct and analyze market research, surveys, and competitive landscapes.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure campaign alignment and performance.
Track and report on campaign metrics and ROI.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
7+ years of experience in marketing strategy or business development, with at least 3 years in the medical device or healthcare technology sector.
Proven experience in B2B marketing, customer segmentation, and consumer targeting.
Strong knowledge of market research, digital marketing, and strategic communications.
Experience managing remote teams and driving performance.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
